Hi

I am trying to install the ES on my ubuntu 64bit laptop. We have the the Vanilla Server running on an EC2 amazon Server with the Ubuntu linux distro - also 64 bit. This works well.

I am struggling to get the ES to work.

I have the ai-32libs installed and openjdk installed , so my java -version output is as follows:

java version "1.7.0_25"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.3.10) (7u25-2.3.10-1ubuntu0.12.10.2)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.7-b01, mixed mode)

Any assistance as to how to get this running would greatly apprecaited.

Hi Megan,

I'm sorry but we do not support Ubuntu 64 bits Enterprise Services installation.

For your information, our softs require a JAVA JDK 1.7 to run (not openJDK).

I have now installed the ES on a windows 32 bit client machine.

Does Vanilla support the newer versions of Postgresql ie 9.1 or higher?

Yes, PostGreSQL 9.1 is fully supported. We've not fully tested higher versions for now, but we are in the process of doing it for a version to come.
