How to create a manual Dimension Level

Hi,

In the article in the link below, it is mentioned that you can manually create a Dimension Level and then assign data to it. I have not able to implement this. Is there a demo video or tutorial on how to achieve this.

Hi,

This feature is still available in Vanilla 4.4.

In order to use it you need to follow this steps in you FASD project:

  • Create a new "inline ODA datasource"
  • Name your columns
  • Add data to you table
  • Create a dataset for this datasource (you may choos all)
  • Create a relation between your inline ODA dataset and your fact table
  • You can now use your manually entered data --> to create a manual dimension
