The Normandy Région selects Data4Citizen for its new Open Data Platform
The Normandy Region has selected Data4Citizen for the implementation of its new Open Data platform, a platform which will promote multiple sources of tabular and cartographic data managed with a GeoNetwork catalog
Previously, the Region and its partners had separate Open Data portals with separate GeoNetwork catalogs. The future platform will be based on a central GeoNetwork in a more recent version and the use of Data4Citizen to promote the referenced datasets.
The Region's ambition is to offer numerous visualizations and maps of the available data, in order to facilitate the understanding and use of the data. In this sense, the availability of Dashboard development interfaces and a Data4Citizen framework will allow easy implementation of multiple visualizations on the region's data.
“This project highlights our data valorization and visualization platforms and our ability to manage data from multiple catalogs, in a context where data put in Open Data must be accessible and understandable by everyone, and therefore be formatted in Dashboards that are easy to handle” declared Patrick Beaucamp, Bpm-Conseil Ceo & President
